CareerPorts students are actively engaged in learning core academic content while gaining exposure to different real-world career pathways. In addition, CareerPorts students are encouraged to become independent learners who take responsibility and make choices as they learn. These skills and experiences benefit students regardless of their future goals.

Flexible Curriculum

CareerPorts meet the needs of a more mobile student and a more demanding school schedule. Students can access and complete much of the required research, writing, and communication through any Internet-connected computer.

Right at Home

With their user name and password, students have access to all of their online assignments and resources. They can read assignment-related “e-mail,” communicate with – and receive feedback from – their teacher-mentor, or spend time researching a paper or project they’re scheduled to start the next day.
